What is Salt Analysis - Salt analysis is also known as systematic qualitative analysis or qualitative inorganic analysis involves the identification of the cation and anion of an inorganic salts.

Most common salts NH4Br it contains Br- ion.

                                 CaCl2 it contains Ca2+ ion.
